In a world where all we are trying to do is find love, there is one major setback – the love rat! This man will break us fall in love with them, do everything in their power to destroy the relationship and basically break our hearts. The definition of a love rat – someone that cheats, commits adultery or basically betrays the woman that he is dating over and over again. Do not confuse this with a cheater; this man will only do it the once and hopefully learn from his mistakes. A love rat will take your heart and stamp on it over and over again until there is basically nothing left!

The bad news is that most women come into contact with a man like this at least one point in their life and usually learn from their mistakes never to make them again. He is not the slimy, greasy man that we come to think of him as; he is just a normal man that is afraid of commitment and loves to sow his wild oats where he feels like it.

So, how do you spot one of these heart breaking men? The bad news is that you won’t usually notice him as a love rat unless you are actually dating him. With your friends you can easily spot him but when it’s yourself, it’s not quite that easy. Usually your friends will tell you what he really is but you won’t believe them. Your parents may make comments about their dislike to him and yet you will still not notice. The only time that you will notice is when your heart is broken and you are wondering what went so terribly wrong!

In short, the best way to avoid the love rat is to actually take what your parents and friends say about your man. If they have a bad vibe about there, there is usually a good reason why!
